• Open the NoPassword Admin Dashboard. Select “Applications” from the left side menu and then select “Web App” from the submenu.


  •  Click on “+ Add SSO App” button from the upper right corner.

  •  A pop-up window will appear. Under the section: “1. Select your app”, click on “Search…” and type Salesforce to search the NoPassword Catalog. Select Salesforce from the drop-down menu.

  • Expand the Identity Provider section, and click on the arrow button to download both NoPassword Certificate fingerprint and Certificate file to your computer.

  • Open a new tab on your browser and log into Salesforce as an administrator using the following hyperlink: https://login.salesforce.com.
  •  On your top right side of the page, click on Setup button and select “Setup Home” from the drop-down menu.

  •  Before starting the configuration, make sure that you have a company domain set up.

If you don’t have a domain set up, please go to “Company Settings > My Domain”.  Create a new domain, and make sure your domain name is in the format: <yourworkdomain>.my.salesforce.com.

  •  From the left-hand side menu, select “Identity > Single Sign-on Settings”.



  •  Click “edit” to configure the “Federated Single Sign-on Using SAML” setting. Check the “SAML enabled” checkbox and click Save.

  •  To add a new entry for “SAML Single Sign-on Settings” – click on the “New” button.

  • Please configure the information for SAML Single Sign-on Settings as follows:

Name: NoPassword
API Name: NoPassword
Issuer: https://nopassword.com/
Entity Id: https://saml.salesforce.com
Identity Provider Certificate: Upload the certificate file you’ve just downloaded
Identity Provider Login URL: https://nopassword.com/SAML/SSOService.aspx
Identity Provider Logout URL: https://nopassword.com/Logout.aspx
Custom Error URL: https://nopassword.com/SAML/SSOService.aspx

  •  Click on “Save“.

  • Copy the Salesforce Login URL. You will use it to configure your ACS URL on your NoPassword dashboard.

  • From the left-hand side menu select “Company Settings > My Domain”. Then, scroll down and click on Edit button next to “Authentication Configuration”.

  •  Uncheck the Login Page checkbox and check the NoPassword checkbox instead.
  • Click on “Save“.

  •  Go back to your NoPassword Admin Portal.
  •  Expand the Service Provider section and paste your “Salesforce Login URL” (that you’ve just copied) into the ACS URL field.
  •  Click on “Save”.
